www.watchsytycd.info Season 6 Episode 9 – Las Vegas Round “Top 20 Chosen” Nigel had to stop the following group mid-dance because no one was emoting or dancing powerfully. Contemporary dancers Mollee Gray and Billy Bell were in the next group to take the stage. Nigel said, “Mollee, you’re dancing like a little girl.” He said there’s a reason why you have to be 18 to be on this show, and he wants her to start dancing like a woman. Dancing in the same group as Mollee and Billy was Russell Ferguson. He’s the first krumper to make it this far in the competition. After watching him dance, Nigel asked Russell if he’s ever had any formal training, and Russell said he hasn’t. Nigel told Russell, “You’re doing so well. Keep up the good work.” Mollee, Billy, and Russell made it to the next round of auditions; however, Mollee limped off the stage. She didn’t want anyone to know that she injured her ankle during contemporary choreography, but the pain became unbearable and she had to see the medic and go to the hospital.Synopsis

A bunch of judges and choreographers were on hand as 152 hopefuls tried to prove themselves for a spot among the final 20 dancers. Mia Michaels, Debbie Allen, Tyce diorio, and Adam Shankman joined Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe for the big round. Russell Ferguson was named Americas Favorite Dancer on So You Think You Can Dance Wednesday night. The win surprised a lot of people considering Ferguson, whose specialty is Krumping, hadnt trained in any of the traditional dance styles. But, win he did over the exceptionally well-trained Jakob Karr, who week after week dazzled the judges with his superiors skills and charismatic personality. Ferguson was a winner Executive Producer, Nigel Lythgoe was exceptionally pleased about. Lythgoe knows that now a whole crop of dancers whod never consider auditioning for SYTYCD because of their lack of training, will probably be inspired to take the leap. And hes not alone. SYTYCD judge, Adam Shankman as well as third runner up, Ellenore Scott, both agree and add that the Krumper earned his titled and the whopping 0000 prize.
