Hardcore OLP fan here. I have to say that David Cook did a decent job singing this, but nothing can touch Raine Maida’s original version. You can try to imitate Raine’s voice, but you can’t imitate the raw emotion he sings with.
Again, though, I was still pleased with David’s version.
i thought one the best moments when he was asked what the highlights were was when he said Raine maida called him and said what a good job he did with Innocent, i cannot imagine how overwhelming that phone call must have been for him.
i really love this song! and he does so well at it too!!! <33 ! ily david! <3

Our Lady Peace sounds better doing this song and yet David Cook singing this song is more memorable for me.
